1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using TuduBooks.ai ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

2. Description of Service

TuduBooks provides an AI-powered bookkeeping platform that helps small businesses, freelancers, and gig workers organize their financial transactions. Our services include:

• Transaction import via CSV and categorization
• AI-powered automatic categorization (Pro plan)
• Receipt scanning and OCR extraction (Pro plan)
• Financial reports and summaries
• Mileage tracking for tax deductions (Pro plan)
• Schedule C export preparation (Pro plan)

3. Account Registration

To use TuduBooks, you must:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Promptly update your account information if it changes
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

4. Subscription & Payments

Plans

Usage Limits

The following limits apply to each plan:

• Free Plan: 100 transactions/month, 2 bank accounts, 10 rules, 50 AI categorizations/month
• Pro Plan: 2,000 transactions/month, 7 bank accounts, 50 rules, 500 AI categorizations/month, 100 receipt scans/month, 4 Schedule C exports/year

If you exceed your plan's limits, you will need to upgrade or wait until the next billing period. Existing data remains accessible regardless of plan status. Usage limits reset monthly (or yearly for Schedule C exports).

Free Trial

New Pro subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. No payment is required during the trial period. Your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel.

Billing

• Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance
• All payments are processed securely via Stripe
• Prices are in US dollars and exclude applicable taxes
• You authorize us to charge your payment method on file

Cancellation & Refunds

• You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• For renewals, no refunds are provided for partial billing periods
• Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your paid period
• First charge: we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee — request a refund within 14 days of your initial purchase for a full refund

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) without permission
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Share your account credentials with others
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
• Use the Service to process data for other businesses (unless Enterprise plan)

6. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you upload to TuduBooks ("Your Data"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process Your Data solely to provide the Service to you.

You are responsible for:

• The accuracy of data you upload
• Maintaining backups of Your Data
• Ensuring you have the right to upload any data
• Complying with applicable data protection laws

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by TuduBooks and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our written permission.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TuduBooks, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service

• Any data you upload to the Service

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Fail to pay subscription fees
• Abuse the Service or other users

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will retain Your Data for 30 days to allow you to export it, after which it may be permanently deleted.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the Service.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in the United States.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
